A New Addition...

Last week I met this little girl at the Humane Society. I planned on adopting another dog, but my sister spotted her and she quickly wiggled her way into my heart. Her name is Daisy May. She's an Australian Cattle Dog mix who is approx. a year old. She was brought to the Humane Society as a stray. It's hard to believe she's only been with me for a week.

In Memory of Sam

A few days before Christmas I made the very difficult decision to put Sam to sleep. His arthritis had gotten so bad that walking was increasingly difficult and painful. Sam was a wonderful companion, my first dog (that wasn't my family's). He was adopted from the Humane Society at the age of 7. I encourage everyone to give shelter dogs a chance.

Long Overdue...

I haven't posted in way too long and it's been even longer since I've written much about my life. So here's at least a quick update. I am working with a ministry called Child Evangelism Fellowship. From December to May I will be their office manager and then from June to August I will work as their Summer Mission Coordinator. Sometime in the summer I will need to make a decision about whether I want to pursue becoming Director. It's great to be employed again and I'm especially grateful to have found a neat ministry to be serving with.
